Modern Derbyshire black and statuary marble chimney-piece in the Regency manner.
The marble for the grounds on the piece is taken from a broken 19th Century original. The paterae on the frieze and the tapering reeded pilasters are taken from Regency period originals.
The Chimney-piece has an astragal moulding forming the internal returns.
