This Chimney-piece comprises some 18th Century elements, but the rest has been constructed to follow the historic original conceived by Vanbrugh. It has a Statuary marble architrave, Sienna marble tablet and veined-Carrara Cornice.
A simple architectural marble chimney-piece formed around an original mid 18th century chimney-piece architrave.
This Chimney-piece incorporates an original mid 18th century statuary marble architrave with a modern Portoro marble tablet and veined-Carrara Cornice. The inspiration for the design comes from chimney-pieces designed by the architect Sir John Vanbrugh.
