Having restored a number of Chimney-pieces made in Italy in the late 18th Century which incorporated specimens of ancient ornamental marbles we manufactured this decorative Chimney-piece utilising some of the finest samples of marbles we could find.
A modern, statuary marble chimney-piece in the Regency manner, inlaid with a selection of specimen marbles many dating to the 18th century. Composed during a lull in projects the inspiration comes from the inlaid chimney-pieces produced in Rome during the last three decades of the 18th century.
